Saturday love.

Saturday agenda:

1. Sleep for more than 8 hours…Done, woke up at 9am.

2. Enjoy the beautiful sunshine coming through the window since the weather report called for thunderstorms.

3. Figure out where we should walk to for breakfast. My vote is for Lamplighter because of the way they put roasted garlic on my bagel. There is no beating that.

4. Walk to the new farmer’s market that has opened up on Monument and Robinson. Find some good veggies and fruit.

5. Spend a lot of time in the garden- compost the vegetables already planted, build another planter box for more vegetables. Spend time with God in the garden…there are few better places to spend time with the Creator than in a garden.

6. Pick up more boxes…moving day is getting closer and closer.

7. Create a meal plan for next week’s lunches. I’ve never done this before but it needs to be done. My first thought is for fresh veggie sandwiches with white cheddar and garlic cream cheese spread with a side of fruit, chips, and more veggies.

8. Plan for a quick trip to the beach later this weekend with my family. Find all those delicious signs of summer (sunscreen, pleasure books, snacks, camera in a plastic bag, sunglasses, and a baseball cap) that you back into a specifically beach bag, and then carry around feeling like a kid again.

9. Clean out the fridge…it is full of remnants of last week’s party.

10. Have a hot date with my husband at Balliceaux. Possibly put on heels.

11. Do all the other things that make Saturdays one of the best days of the week.

I hope you have a beautiful Saturday as well my friends!!
